A final argument against homework is that most homes are not conducive to studying. For kids to focus, they often need a quiet environment. But many homes are crowded and noisy, making it difficult to concentrate. So any assignment done at home may not be the best that children can submit, adversely affecting their grades and their confidence.
If homework is supposed to be of help, then students and parents should not be complaining so much about it. But because such complaints exist, schools really should consider banning homework.
